ITEM:    " At Last ", Rare debut album by Etta James. Original USA Pressing. Released in 1961 by Argo Records, catalog number LP-4003. Matrix stamper numbers:  LP-4003 S-1M, and LP-4003 S-2M.

COMMENTS / CONDITION: This LP came from a private collection - it is not a beat up item bought at a yard sale. The record was visually graded, and was test played. Please see the attached pictures for the Track Listings.

Grading is according to Goldmine Standards. If you are not familiar with that system, please go to the Goldmine web site and read the grading details BEFORE YOU BID.

Vinyl is in  G condition, with no warps, cracks, or chips. There are numerous scuffs and surface scratches ( some feel-able ) on both sides that affect the playback. The surface scratches/scuffs are clearly visible when looking at the record, but they do not show up in the photos. On my older system, both sides played completely through with no skips or groove lock (repeats). Audible, but not overpowering, tics/pops occur at times during all of the tracks, but are most noticeable on Side 2. Sound quality was crisp with no distortion. Although the background noise was present, I did not consider it to be distracting from the overall listening enjoyment. NOTE: Sound quality will vary from system to system. The above comments are included strictly as reference, and are not a statement as to the experience you may have with your equipment.

Deep groove labels are in good condition with no peeling edges, rips, or writing. There are visible spindle tracks and rub wear.

The cover is in G+ condition, with noticeable soiling/rub wear and crease lines on one corner of the front cover. Colors remain crisp and bright. Moderate to heavy discoloration/age tanning is present on the back cover edges, and pencil markings are on the top right corner. There are no stickers, labels, or price tags.  The spine is straight and is easily readable. All seams are strong with no splits. There are no cut-out punch holes, notches, or clipped corners.

Inner sleeve is white paper.

I have not tried to clean the vinyl or the labels. Serious collectors usually have their own preferred methods they use to care for their records.

Please see the attached high resolution photos for close up, detailed views, to help you judge for yourself the condition of cover and record.
