Country: pressed in Japan on translucent virgin vinyl for USA release

Issue: 1st audiophile issue (1980)

 

Vinyl Grade: Near Mint.  Vinyl shines like new, Side 1 label shows one faint spindle mark near the spindle hole, Side 2 label reveals two light spindle trails when examined at an angle to the light.  Amazing condition for a 34 year old pressing.

Cover Grade:  Near Mint, beautiful condition. 

Paper Inserts (two):  Near Mint, both the yellow "Certificate of Limited Warranty" page and the black & white MFSL promotional advertiser page

Card-stock protective gatefold insert:  Near Mint, like new

Inner Sleeve (original MFSL inner sleeve):  Near Mint, no seam splits.

Packaging (open LPs, non-gatefold covers): The album will be removed from the cover to eliminate the possibility of seam-splits.  The LP and cover are placed in a clear outer protective sleeve, and sealed.  The (now sealed) album is then sandwiched between two large cardboard stiffener pads, carefully centered and taped together.  This keeps the LP stationary and the album cover centered, allowing the oversized cardboard reinforcement pads to protect the edges and corners of the cover from dings. 

The album “sandwich” is then packaged with bubble-wrap and Styrofoam peanuts in an oversize box.  The box is large enough that it should easily withstand even being dropped directly on its corner without damaging the cover inside.  I know very well what it is like to receive poorly packaged records, so I am careful to make sure your album is safely packaged and arrives safely.

Tracking: You should automatically receive your Tracking Number by email when the Shipping Label is printed.

No Return Policy:  This collectible LP is long out of print, not replaceable, in top condition and fragile by nature.  I have packaged many hundreds of valuable record LPs over the years, but most people have not, and it's not an easy thing to do properly.  When I have accepted returns in the past, both times (yes, I've had two albums returned in the last 14 years) they arrived with damage to the cover.  I realize it's not intentional, but it happens.  One trip through the postal system is enough, so this album is offered with eBay's 'No Return' policy in effect for this listing.  As always, if there is a problem with the album itself (e.g., item is somehow not as described), just let me know, I am a reasonable person and eBay's money back guarantee is still in effect.  Of course if the album is damaged during transit please let me know immediately and SAVE the packaging because it is needed for the Insurance claim.  We will get the Insurance claim filed right away and process your refund as quickly as possible.  Please check my feedback, you will see that I only offer top quality record albums and my customers are happy!

Weight Limit of 4 Lbs. for International First Class Mail:  Please note that First Class International Mail has a 4 Lb. weight limit.  If you make multiple purchases and the combined weight is over the 4 Lb. weight limit we will have to use two separate First Class International packages or use Priority Mail International.  If your combined total is over 4 Lbs. then I will contact you about the shipping (one package vs. two), but the shipping cost should be basically the same.
