Notes on grading: I use the VJM record grading system described below. My comments are in parenthesis at the end.
E+. Plays like new, with very, very few signs of handling, such as tiny scuffs from being slipped in and out of jackets (never used).
E. Still very shiny, near new looking, with no visible signs of wear, but a few inaudible scuffs and scratches (seldom used; no scratches).
E-. Still shiny but without the lustre of a new record, few light scratches (usually very shiny and minimal surface noise).
V+. V+ is an average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use has dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced (an extra + is sometimes given for a record that plays like an E-, but looks like a V+).
V. Moderate, even wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive (visible signs of wear, noisy [moreso when played on modern equipment], chips, torn labels, other defects).
V-. Quite playable still, but distortion and heavy greying in loud passages. Music remains loud in most passages. Surface noise and scratches well below music level.
G+. Grey throughout but still serviceable. Music begins to sound muffled. Heavy scratches (seldom used).
G. Quite seriously worn and scratched, but music level is still higher than surface noise (seldom used, generally for highly collectable records).
G-. Music still prominent, but wear and scatch damage extensive (ditto).
Notes on shipping: I ship 78s sandwiched in a cardboard wrapped in large-bubble, bubble wrap in a 12x12x4 box. My combined shipping policy for shipping within the U.S. is $3.50 for the first record and $0.25 for each additional record with a $5 total cap regardless of order size. For International shipping, I charge only the fee charged to me by the Postal Service. A one-record box weighs about 1 lb 7 oz, and each additional record adds about 8 oz. There is also a jump in postal rates at 4 lbs, as the package must go Priority Mail rather than 1st Class International.
