I have been Collecting Original Beatles Records ,Memorabilia & Ephemera  since 1962.  Due to my continued poor health I have  decided to sell various  items  from my  Extensive Private Collection.

CONDITION;
Please Note; In my opinion the grading of vinyl records and sleeves is at best subjective                      So with this in mind I will always err on the side of caution with my                      Grading’s. Which are based on the ‘Record Collector‘ UK Grading’s                         There seems to be far too many  vinyl records being offered for sale                                           that are NOT realistically graded                                                                                                    

DISCS;  -  LABELS ,                EXCELLENT   ( All Four Labels )
All four disc labels are in very nice condition with all the lettering in as new condition. Under my  double halogen desk lamp they show just some light spindle trails, there is virtually  no sign of spindle  hole wear. They show NO writing, stickers or sticker removal marks

In normal daylight both discs show a lovely  high gloss black sheen, there are two visible Surface Stylus marks on Side 4 both of which are NON FEELABLE and DO NOT inrterfere With the Superb Audio  Again under my double halogen lamp both discs show just a few superficial  stylus / bag removal  wispy hairlines NON OF WHICH ARE DEEP OR FEELABLE,

During one careful play of all four sides using a dedicated lightweight stereo cartridge the overall audio was SIMPLY SUPERB It was deep rich and punchy with virtually no background static, pops or clicks The only very slight static that I could detect was on the run ins and out, between all tracks was  virtually silent.There was also some very light dust pops on Side 2 Track1 and just a couple on side 2 Track 2,  but I am being very critical. All four sides were a sheer pleasure to listen to, becoming ever harder to find with such superb Audio. There was of course NO skips or Stalls.
In my opinion the overall Audio will not dissappoint.


 BLACK INNER SLEEVES ;            EXCELLENT  /  EXCELLENT MINUS
Both original black inner sleeves are in very nice condition. They both show NO seam splits whatsoever, they show just a few light edge nicks and one has a  very small neat internal repair to a small part of the die cut circle which is barely noticeable. They both show just a few inevitable light creases.


 ( LIPSTICK ) LYRIC / POSTER;     EXCELLENT
The original UK printed Lipstick lyric poster shows NO splits or tears to the fold lines, It has been pinned up on a wall at some point as it shows four very small pin holes to the corners Apart from that there it shows just a little light creasing and very light age toning. It shows NO extra writing stickers or sticker redisue rthe colours are still fresh and vibrant.

PORTRAIT PHOTO’S                     EXCELLENT  PLUS
All four original UK printed portrait photographs are in very nice condition. They are free from any  creasing, writing or stickers of any kind and show no rips tears or heavy wear.

WHITE PHOTO SPACER SHEET,             VERY GOOD
The original printers white paper spacer sheet is glossy on both sides and shows creases and a couple of edge nicks, tears.
Note; Some collectors seem to set grat store by these spacer sheet, but in fact they were never          Intended to be an integral part of The White Albums Components.          They were simply printers white paper offcuts that they trimmed to size and used as a           spacer when they were collating the sets of four portrait photo’s after they had been           printed. When all the albums components were being packed together some of these         paper spacers were inadvertently put into the album sleeves with the four photo’s, probably        because the packers were in such a rush to turn out the completed albums as quickly as          possible for dispatch to the record shops.


SLEEVE; 
 The outer sleeve is the original Garrod & Lofthouse  laminated dual - flipback sleeve  with embossed ‘ THE BEATLES ‘ and the unique Number 0374857 to the front panel.


Front Panel;                   EXCELLENT  MINUS 
The front still retains a very nice high gloss sheen,  It shows a few very light small creases and a small amount of light rubbing to the corners. It shows a very light  and clean outer disc ring impression together with just a little light age toning towards the outer edges .
The side and bottom seams are in EXCELLENT  condition and show NO seam splits or heavy rubbing. The top open edges are in EXCELLENT condition and show just some very light wear but  NO rips,tears or splits. .
Wider Spine;                              EXCELLENT MINUS
The  wider spine  is in very nice condition , it is still very firm and uncrushed.  It  is still lovely and smooth and shows NO laminate lift or peel, it shows just a little sign of light age toning. .
Inner Gatefold                EXCELLENT 
The Inner gatefold is in very nice condition and shows it’s original high gloss sheen,  The flipbacks are very firm and show very little sign of wear, the inner spine is fully in tact with NO splits. The inner gatefold  shows NO writing, stickers, rips or tears of any kind, there is just a little light edge age toning.

Back Panel;                    EXCELLENT MINUS    The back panel is again in very nice condition with a nice glossy sheen  and it is virtually the same condition as the front panel.
Note; Only when angled under intense light can the merest sign of the ‘Stereo” embossing on            the back of the sleeve be seen, it would appear that during the embossing stage the             machine failed to stamp the gold ‘ Stereo ‘ embossing and left only the very faintest            of a partial outline.
 
SLEEVE GRADED OVERALL AS A FIRM EXCELLENT MINUS

   In my opinion this is a very nice overall example of this Iconic Beatles Album
