Beastie Boys - 1989 1st Pressing Paul's Boutique Vinyl

This is an awesome original 1989 1st Pressing copy of the Beastie Boys classic Paul's Boutique album. This album did not initially sell well and early copies are difficult to find today. As you know, this is an absolute classic album and a must-have for any hip-hip, 80's or alternative collector or for someone who just appreciates good music. This is the 4-panel gatefold cover verstionl. If you are looking for a great display piece this one is for you. If you are looking for a flawless listener, I'd pass on this one.

Condition:

Cover - the cover is in nice shape, but does have some very minor wear at the corners. It's more shelf wear than anything, kind of fuzzy corners. There are no bends and there are no tears. As you can see from the glare on the picture, the original gloss is bright and shiny. The inner cover at the bottom has some flaking which is also shown in the photos. Spine is nice and the original inner sleeve is still there. The inner sleeve does have a few bends, but no tears and still looks good. Overall, I'd call the cover an 8 of 10.

Vinyl - the vinyl looks great on side two but has 3 scratched areas on the first side. I don't recall this album skipping but it's been a very long time since it's been played. The label is still very nice with no writing, no tears. I'd call the vinyl 6 of 10.
