I'm starting to list a collection of rock and heavy metal vinyl records, put together by a relative, now deceased. These have been in a storage unit, stored upright and not played for at least 10 years. Most are in Excellent to NM condition and have been rarely (some never) played. They mostly date from 1980 to the mid 1990s. I will endeavour to point out any faults if I find any.

This is a copy of the LP Floodland by The Sisters Of Mercy, first pressing Europe issue from 1987 on Merciful Release MR441L  242 232-1

The stamped matrix no.s  are  R / S  Alsdorf  242232 - 1 - A  and  R / S  Alsdorf  242232 - 1 - B

The vinyl is in Excellent condition with no scuffs, scratches or other blemishes. The labels are clean with no stains, writing, spindle marks, stickers or scuffs.

The cover is in Excellent condition. There are no tears, ring wear, stains, splits or writing.  The spine and upper edge are perfectly readable. There are just some tiny chips out of the print on the spine and the bottom edge. The cardboard feels as crisp and sharp as new. The sticker on the front was put on by the manufacturer.

The  thick card inner sleeve also has a few minute chips out of the print along the edges

The lyric sheet / poster just has a few faint handling creases.
