Great V.U. rarity, this contains 5 songs from 1968, just after Doug Yule joined the band. Recorded at the Boston Tea Party. Blistering performances with great Lou Reed fuzz guitar freakouts, I absolutely loved this record as a youngster. Hence it has been well played, and although I bought this from new in the late '80s (I think), it does show signs of age both on the cover, and the record itself. Edges of sleeve are a bit scuffed (see photo for the worst example), and the record has a few surface marks. No major flaws, just a well loved lp that is 25 years old! The original source tape was probably not that great, so be prepared for a somewhat lofi listening experience; having said that, I've heard much worse V.U. live stuff...
