Three Rare Rockabilly Acetates by
William The Wild One aka Billy Barry
3 rare rockabilly / early rock and roll acetate 78s by William The Wild
One aka Billy Barry. These were recorded at Ace Recording Studio in
Boston, probably in the late 1950s or very early 1960s and never issued
commercially as far as I can tell. The songs are:
Baby / I'm a King
Weepin' and a Wailin' / Oh No
Listen Baby / Listen Baby (Alt. Take)
They all play strong with some
background hiss but no pops or skips. Would sound great on a better set
up. Soundclips available at this link, recorded off a Califone 78
