MEAT PUPPETS

Vinyl edition includes download card. "Meat Puppets" was released in Summer of 1982 to near unanimous praise from the rock press. The New York Rocker called it "one of the most forcibly gripping blobs of wax ever created," and New Musical Express called the Meat Puppets "near-virtuosos, three of the most inspired musicians living under the sun."

The Meat Puppets classic second album, remastered and pressed on 180 gram vinyl with a playing speed of 45RPM for maximum fidelity. Also includes a digital download card with the full album and seven bonus tracks! Originally released in 1984, this one still blows minds over 25 years later. The Meat Puppets received one of their highest accolades when the Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain personally invited Curt and Cris Kirkwood to perform three Puppets classics from this album (“Plateau,” “Oh, Me,” and “Lake of Fire”) on the band's MTV Unplugged taping, which has gone down as arguably the greatest episode ever.

UP ON THE SUN

Vinyl version of the Meat Puppets' landmark 1985 album, reissued and remastered for vinyl. This one is a stone cold classic; a mix of punk rock, folk, country, jams and poetic lyrics that was a shock when originally released on SST way back when. From the stoned and sunny opening title track to the whirling dervish of sound that is "Two Rivers," this album has absolutely no filler and holds up insanely well, like a classic should! For fans of Black Flag and the Grateful Dead.

OUT MY WAY

Vinyl version includes bonus tracks and download card! The Meat Puppets stretch their legs on 1986's "Out My Way," jamming their way through a bunch of tunes, including the title track, "She's Hot," and "Good Golly Miss Molly."

MIRAGE

Vinyl version (with download code) of the Meat Puppets at their psychedelic peak! A tightly crafted labor of love, "Mirage" was released in Spring of 1987 to increasing interest from mainstream rock circles. Joe Sasfy (Washington Post) proclamed it "their finest, as close to a polished artistic arrival as you'd want from a frisky anti-pop band committed to musical spontaneity and adventure."

HUEVOS

Vinyl version, includes download card! Hard driving riff rock, Meat Puppets style. "Huevos" was recorded in four days and released less than six months after "Mirage". But where that album was spacey and lush, "Huevos" is rough and spontaneous.
