From our personal collection - David had his mom drive him to NYC to buy "Meet the Beatles" on the first day it was released!   Meet The Beatles Mono LP Capitol T-2047 TESTED
The cover has rub wear on the front and back.
The spine is split for about 3 inches in the middle.

Early Pressing and a "3" on the back cover indicating it was pressed in Scranton PA
There is no "Produced by George Martin" credit on the back of the album.
The vinyl has scuffs and scratches but sounds great (I just listened to the whole album) with no skips.
The original inner sleeve is missing, it will come with a new sleeve.
The Matrix numbers are       Side 1: T1-2047-T8
     Side 2: T2-2047T2
There is also an "I AM" triangle stamped in the dead wax of side 1 of the album
I just listened to the whole album on my ION TTUSB10 turntable going directly to my computer's speakers. I know everyone's listening experience is different and very subjective because of the condition of their ears and equipment used. That being said, I think you will be pleased with this album. I really enjoyed listening to these old songs again. The noise I heard was between songs and not very loud. It was the loudest before the first track and after the last on each side. The album plays pretty much noise free. This is a mono recording, the album cover is not in mint condition, it has a new sleeve since the original was missing. I hope this helps in making your decision!
