VINYL RECORD GRADINGS

MINT (M): A record in immaculate condition. Sleeve is flawless and without smudges, scuffs, tears or ink.

NEAR MINT (NM):  A record that appears not been played and may have extremely minor wear. The flaws in the sleeve will usually be very subtle, requiring close inspection to see it. Variance from the "Mint" condition. Remains particularly well-preserved overall.

EXCELLENT (EX): A record that has been played a few times but still is in excellent condition. Above an average used record. No obvious damage on the sleeve and may be very minimal wear.

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+): A record that has very slight signs of wear that hardly affects the audition. Some slight wear on the sleeve or very small smudges, scuffs, tears or writing.

VERY GOOD (VG): A record has signs of being played, such as light visible surface marks and scuffs that sometimes may be noticed but it doesn’t compromise the listening. The sleeve has some wear and/or small splits, smudges, scuffs, tears or writing.

GOOD PLUS (G+): A record that has visible scuffs/scratches that may be audible. The sleeve may has some flaws that will be always described and pictured.

GOOD (G): A record with obvious wear that may compromise the listening, but still has a collectible value. The sleeve has some major flaws that will be always described and pictured.

POOR (P): Not worth describing. Only for sale for some exceptional reason and/or collectible value.
