Firstly, I am NOT a record dealer and all of my small batch of current record listings were all privately owned by the original purchaser from when they were new and have been well looked after. In addition I have listened and test played ALL the records on a quality Hi-Fi system prior to listing, so can give an accurate AUDIO as well as VISUAL report on each.     This one is  an original 1963 UK Mono 2nd press of the Beatles 2nd LP WITH THE BEATLES on the yellow & black Parlophone label.     The record has on the label "Recording first published 1963..."  but is WITHOUT the later "Sold in the UK....." script.    The matrix numbers are XEX447-7N,  XEX448-7N     with stampers that look like 130 GA11,  & 120 GMA   In addition is the embossed KT tax code near the centre spindle hole on side 2.     Track 7, side 2 "Money" has Dominion Belinda song credits.      The vinyl is in beautiful shape with only a couple of very wispy non feelable marks totally inaudible on playback  . The vinyl  retains a nearly new superb glossy sheen (ANY LINES ON THE VINYL IN SCANS 3 & 4  ARE LIGHT RELECTIONS AND NOT MARKS ON THE RECORD). The record cover once again is in very nice condition with spine fully straight and readable. There are  no rips or writing to the cover or labels.  It has its original "Use Emitex" liner sleeve with a little age browning .   As mentioned I have played the album from start to finish - it plays like a brand new album, it tracks superbly with a great "clean" punchy sound with no pops, scratch noises, jumps and amazingly with practically no background noise at all - in fact I have brand new albums bought this year with a lot poorer sound quality than this.  Anybody would be proud to have this in their collection. Unlike most of the Beatles records from this era that have been badly abused, this is the exception and has had VERY FEW plays throughout its life and remains a beautiful example.  See all scans and check my other listings for other similar quality vinyl from the same collection.
