Super rare example of regional Cape Verdean music - the type of music known as "morna" made famous most recently by Cesaria Evora. This is from the early 50s - only other Cape Verdean 78s are from New England, early 1930s, and just a handful at that. This is a fiddle led group - it's a little slick, but a rare item indeed.
