Vinyl Grading -  I grade visually, just as the used record stores did back in the day I DO NOT PLAY/TEST ANY OF THE RECORDS UNLESS STATED IN THE LISTING NM -  No signs of wear or damage, looks like it's been removed from the sleeve with care EX- Very few signs of handling - Possibly some visual surface wear (maybe from sleeve removal or from factory) VG - Light scratches and surface wear G - Many Scratches with plenty of visual wear
Jacket grading NM - Looks like you just brought it home from the Record store EX - May have corner ding(s), very light edge wear VG - Edge wear, may have scuffs on front or back, "ring wear" will have started, but light G - "Ring wear" is prominent, seam(s) may have started to come unglued, prominent scuffs P - In need of MAJOR restoration
