Produced by Al Hazan, and not by Phil Spector. By the time of this 45 release, Spector knew he had to do something in order to gain control of the label, and start to produce hits again. After the previous flop by Joel Scott, and the lackluster showing of the Crystals' 'Uptown' (Spector paid more than enough money in trade ads in order for the song to become a hit.
