Here is a unique item for the ultimate Doobie Brothers fan. Here is a copy of the band’s classic 1973 album, The Captain and Me in QUADRAPHONIC sound! This scarce Quadradisc pressing of The Doobie Brothers album is in absolutely gorgeous condition! I would give it mint condition grading!

This record has the band’s classic hits “Long Train Runnin’” and “China Grove” in glorious quad!

Quad was similar to what is now called 4.0 surround sound in that it uses four channels in which speakers are positioned at the four corners of the listening space, reproducing signals that are (wholly or in part) independent of one another. It was kind of the 5.1 of the day minus a speaker or two!
