Original UK-pressing from 1970 on PHILIPS, 6308 026. Fully laminated cover ( still in shrink ), extensive liner-notes on the back. Has the OIS. H.Beckett's debut as a leader (accompanied by some of the greatest in British jazz), resulted in one of the most interesting recordings of that era. Unique compositions, top-soli, J.Taylor on electric-piano, „loose“-playing, stylistic influences from modal via latin to rock and more – this one is great from the beginning to the end, a personal longtime-favourite of mine. Condition: the record looks mint- in daylight & in normal artificial light, it looks mint- to mint-- under a very strong halogen lamp. It plays in mint- all of the time, I have listened carefully and completely to the record on my REGA PLANAR 9 w. EINSTEIN MC and also my LINN AXIS w. DENON MC.

The fully laminated cover is still mainly in it's original PVC shrink, this causes of course some light-reflections on the photos. On the front there are a few tears & creases in the PVC-shrink, the back is nearly completely covered with just 2 parts with PVC-tears/-creases ( right side on top & parallel to the opening). Under the PVC there seams to be little and light ringwear, I can also see some very few particles under the shrink wich I can move with my finger but I cannot remove them from under the PVC. I was considering taking the cover out of it's shrink to make it look even cleaner, but a copy in shrink is pretty rare so maybe the future-owner can decide if to do so or not. All seams/spine and the lamination are intact, there's slightest wear on the right corners; overall cover-grading is mint--. The OIS is in mint--/ex++.

Zustand: die LP sieht bei Tageslicht & unter einer normalen Lampe mint- aus, unter einer sehr hellen Halogenlampe sieht sie mint- bis mint-- aus. Sie spielt durchgehend in mint-., ich habe mir die LP sorgfältig und komplett auf meinen 2 Plattenspielern angehört (REGA PLANAR 9 mit EINSTEIN MC und LINN AXIS mit DENON MC).

Das laminierte Cover ist zum überwiegenden Teil noch in der originalen PVC-Einschweißfolie, dies verursacht natürlich einige Spiegelungen/Lichtreflexe auf den Fotos. Auf der Vorderseite sind einige Risse/Runzelungen in der Folie, die Rückseite ist fast komplett bedeckt mit nur 2 Stellen mit PVC-Falten/-Rissen (oben rechts und parallel zum Einschub). Unter der Folie scheint ein wenig Ringwear zu sein, ich sehe auch einige kleine Partikel die ich mit dem Fingernagel verschieben kann, aber leider nicht unter der Folie hervorholen kann. Ich hatte deshalb überlegt die Folie zu entfernen um das Cover noch besser aussehen zu lassen, aber ein Exemplar in Folie ist doch zu selten, der zukünftige Besitzer kann ja entscheiden ob er dies tun möchte. Alle Kanten und die Laminierung sind intakt, allerleichteste Gebrauchsspuren an beiden rechten Ecken; Cover-Bewertung ist mint--. Die Originale Innenhülle ist in mint--/ex++.

Alle Platten wurden professionell gereinigt, entweder von mir (Hannl Mikro) oder von den Vorbesitzern (Okki Nokki, Loricraft o.Ä.). Anschließend wurden sie nur wenige Male abgespielt bzw. nur einmal von mir zum Bewerten angehört (komplett oder in Ausschnitten). Optische Bewertung erfolgt in Tageslicht, in normalen Kunstlicht & unter einer sehr hellen Halogenlampe. Platten kommen mit neuer hochwertiger Innenhülle & in einer Schutzhülle. Bitte beachten: auch prof. gereinigte Platten können einige Staubpartikel haben; “eingefangen” während optischer & akkustischer Bewertung, Fotografieren oder den wenigen Abspielungen der Vorbesitzer.

Grading & Cleaning:

all records have been cleaned on a professional record cleaning machine, either by me (Hannl Mikro) or by the pre-owners (Okki Nokki, Loricraft or the like). After cleaning the records have been played just a few times (or only once by me for playgrading)

I playgrade each record (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, high-end Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN/ EMT TU-3 SFL (please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment)

I also visually grade cleaned records in daylight, in normal artificial light & under a strong halogen lamp

only an unplayed record is mint, my highest grading for a used record is mint- . My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg

cleaned records are stored in a new pro innersleeve and they are placed in a PVC protection-sleeve

pl. note: even pro cleaned records may have received some dust particles during visual-/play-grading, photographing or few pre-owner playbacks
