Led Zeppelin Classic Records Audiophile 45 RPM Series Complete Recordings RTH 3001-45 (includes all 44 one sided records, with original books, covers and road case) ___________________  For many years audiophile remastered records have been gaining in popularity, and a handful of companies have been making tremendous strides. Yet “Classic Records” seems to the most obsessed with delivering the absolute highest degree of sonic perfection from the beloved Lp. Mike Hobson of Classic Records is putting out a whole new type of LP. His incredible ingenuity and expertise has elevated the LP to a level never before though possible. Classic Records utilizes proprietary vinyl formulation known to all as QUIEX SV-P. QUIEX SV-P has received critical acclaim among reviewers and consumers around the world and is largely considered the reference standard among audiophiles. This 200 gram, super vinyl formulation has a fatter, flatter profile. The differences, in terms of increased clarity of instruments, harmonic integrity, and spatial detail are easy to hear even with untrained ears.
In 2006 Classic Records outdid themselves with the super audiophile, comprehensive Led Zeppelin Box set. There has never been an undertaking quite like the production of this box set, and there is nothing that comes closer to breaking the threshold between live and electronically reproduced sound. In addition to the Super Vinyl Profile 200 gram Quiex SV-P technology, classic records produced these on single sided 12” records at 45 rpm speed, thus further perfecting and already close to perfect formula. Every Led Zeppelin album was mastered directly from the original master recordings. The mastering process was conducted by the finest mastering engineers in the world and the process was whole-heartedly approved by the band. You will not hear a better sonic rendering of any music, by any band, on any format. It is truly mind boggling as to just how well this sounds. With a top quality system, it makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up. With your eyes close you will have a hard time convincing yourself you are not directly in front of the band.
A very limited number of these box sets were produced, in fact Classic Records sold out almost immediately upon announcement of their availability and no more are being made. This set only comes up once in a blue moon on the used market, if you are an audiophile or fanatical Zeppelin fan, trust me it is worth every penny! Box set comes with all originally included books, sleeve and records! 44 records covering 10 albums! consisting of the albums Led Zeppelin I, Led Zeppelin II, Led Zeppelin III, Led Zeppelin IV, Houses of the Holy, Physical Graffiti, Presence, In Through the Out Door Coda Each pressed on either 4 or 8 sides [depending on whether the original was a single or double LP] and each with authentic reproductions of the original sleeve art & labels with the additional discs housed in individual white jackets, presented in a stunning heavy duty 'road case' for safe storage & transportation - emblazoned with the iconic black & white Led Zep image, complete with metal edging and corners for added protection! ___________________
