DESCRIPTION: Up for auction is a 1972 release, 12" vinyl, LP, record from David Bowie, introducing his glam-rock creation, Ziggy stardust, called "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars" by RCA Victor. It is a stereo, first pressing edition, LSP-4702, with the orange label, and black and white inner sleeve (with a 4" open bottom seam) and photos of the band members on one side with song lyrics on the other. It has an original, first pressing, "stamped" matrix number on the run out groove. The vinyl record grading is a Very Good (VG) or Good Plus (G+). There are age-related scuff marks, but no deep scratches. The cover's wear reveals the outline of the record inside, as well as a one-side frayed spine. I would grade it a Very Good (VG) or Very Good Plus (VG+) as there is minimal age-related wear, without any rips or holes.
