Key to my Record Grading
MINT : The record itself in like brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extras such as lyric sheets, booklet or posters are in perfect condition with no creases.
EXCELLENT : The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight signs of wear and/or creases.
VERY GOOD : The record has been played quite a lot but there is no major deterioration in sound quality, despite some noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear to the cover and extras for age but without major defects. May be some discolouration to cover.
GOOD : The record has been played a great deal and the sound quality is affected with a fair amount of background noise, but still quite enjoyable. There will be visible scratches. The cover and any extras may have been folded or have scuffed edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR : The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise. It may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
