Vintage jazz lp: ART BLAKEY & THE JAZZ MESSENGERS - At the Jazz Corner of the World, Volume 1 - the original mono Blue Note pressing, BLP 4015, deep groove,  "RVG" stamped in the deadwax along with the etched "ear" symbol; also etched in the deadwax is BN-LP-4015-A / BN-LP-4015-B. Released in 1959. The labels have  the West 63rd St NY address; no address on the back cover. Personnel includes Hank Mobley, Lee Morgan, Bobby Timmons, Jymie Merritt and Art Blakey.

Condition is Good/Good - TEST PLAYED and sounds VG- to VG+ (though the vinyl has moderate-to-heavy scuffing and many soft hairlines, some of which I can feel,  I have just played both sides all the way through and there are no skips, and not only that but it plays overall VG with fairly steady but surprisingly soft background  noise and the occasional soft pop - still an absolutely enjoyable listening experience - I am happily surprised; the labels have some light rubbing and spindle marks;  the jacket cover is still pretty attractive, with a very tiny scar near the center [in the left headlight], heavy corner rubbing, a couple of edge wrinkles, heavy dent near  the top of the right edge; spine has 1/4-inch rubbing at the bottom and several tiny rubbed areas but mostly clean and not split; top edge has minor rubbing with a  half-inch split on the right and a 2-inch split in the center; bottom edge has heavy rubbing with a 2-inch split on the right and a 6-inch splt to the middle; back cover  has some minor rubbing rubbing, two small half-inch rubs/scars, and my soft pencil notes in the top-left corner area).

(Vintage Vinyl, LPs, Record, Album, Music, Jazz, Rudy Van Gelder, 1950's, Memorabilia, Collectible).

REGARDING IMAGE QUALITY: Some of our older listings have images of poor quality; a few months ago Ebay changed their image  size policies, and I was forced to automatically enlarge the images for all of last years' remaining items, which caused them to be grainy and  blurry.
INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS - WE SHIP WORLDWIDE - please contact me prior to bidding so I can determine Airmail shipping rates for  you.
WE NEVER USE STOCK PHOTOS - all images are of actual items. WE ALMOST ALWAYS USE MULTIPLE IMAGES. We grade all items  conservatively, and when grading record albums we follow the Goldmine Record Guide. Please see our other Ebay auctions for many used,  odd, rare and collectible books and records, paper & ephemera, and more. Thank you!
