Original Capitol Stereo SP8512 Tchaikovsky violin concerto in D major, NATHAN MILSTEIN, William Steinberg Pittsburgh S.O. 1960
One of many quality ORIGINAL mainly UK FIRST PRESSING classical recordings I will be listing
over the coming days all from a SUPERB ONE OWNER COLLECTION purchased
new in the "Golden Age" 1950s-60s. I have acquired the collection direct from the
gentleman's widow - they were bought from new, mostly PLAYED ONCE on highest quality equipment and
recorded on reel to reel and then ARCHIVED away. I will point out any flaws (should there be any) as I individually list each one.
This one is a UK original Capitol Stereo records SP8512 with rainbow labels. Original
liner sleeve. The labels are in excellent condition. Outer sleeve is in excellent condition with just one small old mark, bottom right of reverse. 1960 printed date to cover. The vinyl is excellent with just a non-feelable mark on side one, (I have test played and it presents no audible issues at all, the sound is superb). Any lines visible in my scans are simply light reflections and not on the vinyl which is fine. A superb original example of a rare album
Please see the other records I will be listing with many EXTREMELY RARE ones to come including original STEREO DECCA SXL ED1s, COLUMBIA SAX ES1s, HMV EW1s etc. I have painstakingly inspected every one, given the quality of the collection, and have test played some of the very high value ones. Any record selling for over £30 will be sent signed for so please wait for final invoice. Reduced postage for multiple purchases.
Owing to past problems there will be no shipping to PO Box addresses, South America, Russian Federation and Italy. Many thanks.
