Up for sale is my copy of Led
Zeppelin (untitled) but referred to by most as "IV" (four) vinyl LP
album. I am the original owner of this album. I can't recall exactly when I bought this but it was early 1980's- I think from a record club . I am the original and only owner until
now. This appears to be a reissue of the 1971 release.
The label :
– SD 7208,
– R 112014
The label has markings that indicate it was the 1977 reissue. It might be as this one has no bar code printed on it. Here is more label information if that helps you figure it out:
Matrix / Runout (Side A label): ST-A-712285 SP Matrix / Runout (Side B label): ST-A-712286 SP The
cover and
interior are in nice shape but not perfect. It has minor scuffing, very slight
corner
wear, some dings along the opening edges, and overall nice gloss. The cover has some visible writing on it (my
initials - MG) in the upper right corner (pictured- last picture). The interior to the gate fold is also in nice shape with nice gloss.
The inner sleeve has the lyrics to Stairway to Heaven on one side and the listing of all the songs on the other. The inner sleeve is intact and I did not see any seam splits.
The
album
visually appears to be in very nice shape. I
could not see anything wrong with it via visible inspection. I played this album somewhat infrequently and
carefully
handled it.
PLEASE review the numerous pictures to evaluate the condition
yourself as I am not used to grading record albums (comic books is
another matter).
Anyway-- let me know if you have any additional questions.
I
will take great care packing this album for media mail. I also offer a priority mail option.
I am always
willing to combine shipping when possible. You just need to request a
revised invoice after committing to multiple items. LP
is removed from cover/inner sleeve and wrapped in lightweight paper (or
sometimes newspaper) separately for shipping to help prevent any seam
splitting. I have
developed a method of shaping cardboard specifically for shipping
albums to withstand brutal delivery conditions, including wrapping the
media mail package in heavy plastic. It is kind of a process for me but I
haven't had any complaints from those receiving my packages.
Thanks for looking.
Album info (from the site Discogs) - it was not easy to figure out which one matched my labels etc and I was not able to find one that exactly matched it. This one seemed closest.
