Valli scored 29  hits with The Four Seasons, one Top 40 hit under The Four Seasons' alias '', and nine  hits as a solo artist. As a member of The Four Seasons, Valli's number-one hits included "" (1962), "" (1962), "" (1963), "" (1964) and "" (1975). Valli's recording of the song "" reached number two in 1967. "You're Ready Now", a Valli solo recording from 1966, became a surprise hit in the UK as part of the  scene and hit number eleven on the British pop charts in December 1970. As a solo artist, Valli scored number-one hits with the songs "" (1974) and "" (1978).

Valli, ,  and  – the original members of The Four Seasons – were inducted into the  in 1990 and the  in 1999.

Early life

Valli was born Francesco Stephen Castelluccio, the eldest of three sons to an Italian family in the  of , . His father, Anthony Castelluccio, was a barber and display designer for  model trains; his mother, Mary Rinaldi, was a homemaker and beer company employee. He was inspired to take up a singing career at the age of seven after his mother took him to see the young  at the  in New York City. His early mentor was singer "Texas" Jean Valli, from whom he obtained his last name. Until he could support himself with music, he worked as a barber.

Valli's birth year has been called into question. Valli never addressed the issue himself, until the 2007 posting at the Official Frankie Valli Site, sponsored by his current record label, . Much of the previous official publicity surrounding his career used 1937 as the birth year. Other sources, such as the Bear Family Records release, titled "The Four Lovers" (BCD 15424), as well as a 1965 , available through , all identify his year of birth as 1934.

Packaging :

I take great care during packaging and do each one personally. I use hand cut cardboard, which I get from a trucking company. (It's so thick that you will save it and use it again.) Each piece is 1/4 inch thick and together they are very stronge. I always remove the record from the picture sleeve and add clear plastic and record sleeve. All packages are marked in red and white "Handle With Care Fragile" sticker on one side.

Postage :

You have to pay for the postage.   This record will weigh 6 ounces when ready to ship. US winners can figure out your own postage costs for US First Class with tracking. I will send it through USPS and you will get an email with the tracking number. Overseas winners will get it sent by First Class Mail International. (Buyers from Brazil, France will assume all risks for shipping to your country.) I will send your record as soon as you pay. (same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM, Monday thru Saturday) I will combine postage if you win more than one record. Please wait for my invoice for all of your winnings in one package

G "Good" Disc has lots of wear, and serious visual abrasions. It should play through without skipping (unless otherwise noted). Condition is generally rough, but is good enough to serve as a "filler" copy until something better comes along. Only the rarest of records will be listed in this condition.

All other defects, such as cut-out holes (CO), stickers and/or writing on the label (SOL / WOL) and warping (wrp) are noted as listed here.
