especially for this release; ranging from delicate guitar pieces to dark
rumbling drones, all recorded directly to tape in her own defining
style that echos William Basinski's own recording technique of crumbling
destoyed tapes and Groupers distant muffled simplicity.
These tracks are delicate & hushed, brooding & alien...almost lost in their own fragility.
This
release also includes a 76 minute CD containing a 10 minute
drone-microhouse remix by the pseudonym 'Alexander Johnson' (Type Records) that sounds like the best
Echospace/Fluxion/DJ Sprinkles track that never was, Shaun Blezard
(Yeah Yeah Industrial) delivers an incredible 19 minute live mix of the 4
Tape tracks reducing them into a hypnotic rolling wall of blissed sound
as well as the 4 remaining original Tiny Vipers tracks...one of which
is over 20 minutes long!
That's over a double LP's worth of material included in the 7" & CD.
