We've downsized and are selling our more than 50 years of vinyl! These records have been played sparingly, usually no more than once or twice on a high-end Thorens Turntable. Our practice was to immediately record our LPs onto tapes, to save the vinyl records from wear. They've always been stored vertically and have always been in climate controlled, non-smoking environments.
This is Prince's Purple Rain album released in 1984. I played it no more than twice when I recorded it on tape. The photos speak to the condition: while the record is near mint, we've marked it down to excellent due to a very small and slight sticker residue on the label on side 1 where I had placed an identifying sticker when I recorded the LP onto tape. We've included several photos of side 1 to show the residue which is located on the right side of the label below the number 1, but it's very hard to see. The outer sleeve is very good+. The inner sleeve has some breakthrough (where the record often cuts the edge of the sleeve) at the bottom. It can be seen in the 1st inner sleeve photo.
This will be carefully packed in a new LP shipping box and shipped USPS Priority Mail. We do not use Economy Mail due to the much longer time in transit and greater chance of mishap. It's just not worth the few dollars savings.
