Mario del Monaco, Gabriella Tucci and Cornell MacNeil with the Chorus and Orchestra of the Accademia Santa Cecilia, Rome conducted by Francesco Molinari-Pradelli perform Leoncavello’s Opera “I Pagliacci”. A two record set, this is an English stereo pressing on the Decca Label (SXL 2185-6). The labels have full frequency stereo sound fatband and ffss logo, Original Recording… at 10 o’ clock and a groove. Thee records are of excellent appearance, and play and sound superb with a minimum of surface noise. The original plastic sleeve, ffss inners and libretto are immaculate.
