Apple label with red background with "all rights reserved" text. Capitol logo on cover.  Incudes original inner sleeves.  Sticker with song list on shrinkwrap. No insert.

Gatefold cover: VG+. Still in shrinkwrap.

Vinyl: VG-. Looks very clean with no major scratches or marks, but plays with clicks and background noise. Only heard about half of side 3. Let us know if you want the whole set tested for skips and/or possible skips.

“1962-1966” (widely known as "The Red Album") is a compilation of songs by the The Beatles, spanning the years indicated in the title. It was released with 1967-1970 ("The Blue Album"), in 1973. “1962-1966” reached No. 3 in the United Kingdom and No. 1 in the United States Cash Box album chart. However, in Billboard, “1962–1966” peaked at No. 3, while “1967–1970” reached the top spot.

The album was compiled by Beatles manager Allen Klein. Along with its 1967–1970 counterpart, it compiles every single A-side released by the band in the UK.
