NECROMANTIA has always stood among the darkest bands at the forefront of the Greek black metal scene, and this 1995 masterpiece further established their devotion to the dark arts. While the Norwegians at the time forged their craft in slabs of ice and frost, NECROMANTIA vomited forth a scorching, harshly volcanic sound, most likely thanks to their unorthodox exlcusion of 6-string guitars in favor of bass guitars only (even an 8-string bass helps to serve as the backbone of their sound). The end result is a diabolical slab of metal enhanced by sinister keyboards, dramatic tempo changes and a harsh production that adds to the eerie overall atmosphere. Here's your chance to experience again a relic of true unholiness from one of the blackest metal scenes in the world.
