On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Rolling Stones called "Through The Past Darkly (Big Hits Vol. 2)" and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press UNBOXED Decca label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE ROLLING STONES RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  THIS LP IS ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs ON THE DECCA LABEL - AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS 1ST PRESSED IN MEGA RARE MONO!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED BACK IN 1969, NEARLY EVERY 1ST PRESSING WAS MADE IN COMMON STEREO - WITH VIRTUALLY NONE IN MEGA RARE MONO AT ALL!!!!  AND DEMAND FOR MONOs WAS SO ABSOLUTELY TINY, THAT MOST SHOPS DIDNT EVEN STOCK MONOS BY THIS POINT - AND IT WAS ONLY AVAILABLE BY 'SPECIAL ORDER' ONLY!!!!  AS A RESULT, FINDING A UK 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP IN MEGA RARE MONO IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE - AS BARELY ANY WERE EVER MADE!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT, BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION - AND STILL A VERY VERY DECENT EXAMPLE INDEED!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS UNBOXED DECCA LABEL, 1ST PRESS RED MONO INNER SLEEVE, 1ST PRESS MONO MATRIXES, AND 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' GATEFOLD LAMINATED 'OCTAGONAL' COVER!!!!  THIS COVER DOES NOT HAVE ANY INTERNAL FLIPBACKS - SO THIS SUGGESTS IT WAS TOWARDS THE END OF THE 1ST PRESSING RUN.  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS (ESPECIALLY IN MEGA RARE MONO!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Decca UK 1st Pressing from 1969 and is in GREAT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is LK 5019 on the ORIGINAL UNBOXED 1st Press Decca Label (see picture) and is a much MUCH rarer UK MONO 1st pressing!!!!  

The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear (apart from a small 'touched in' trace around the centre holes!), and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO nasty concentric marks AT ALL, NO scufflines, only 3 or 4 lateral hairline type marks, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO skips, a few clicks (though mostly NONE!), NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and is still a very VERY decent record indeed!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Red Mono 'Octagonal' inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition - with NO splits for once!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Gatefold Laminated 'Octagonal' FLIPBACK Cover is in GREAT condition - and although it seems to have some 'history' to it, it is still a very VERY presentable cover indeed!!!!   It has NO edge wear, barely ANY spinal wear (though there is evidence of 'touching in' to the bottom), NO spine splits, NO edge splits, barely ANY corner wear, barely ANY creases AT ALL (apart from 3 or 4 to the bottom right of the opening flap - and the cover is still VERY flat looking indeed!), VERY shiny laminate, NO rips, NO tears, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  However, I suspect this LP has gone through multiple 'dealers' in the past - as there is 'touching in' to the inside spine, and there is possible evidence of 'trimming' to 1 edge (it does not line up properly).  99% of people would never notice this - but I am being very exact here.  Even the unlaminated inside of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO rubbing, NO ringwear, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - though most I am certain would grade FAR higher still!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE (ESPECIALLY IN MEGA RARE MONO!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
