You are bidding on a 1st pressing of Led Zeppelin II on the Atlantic label. The catalogue number is SD 8236. This was released in 1969. This is a Robert Ludwig (RL SS) HOT MIX version. It has RL SS in the dead wax (vinyl trail off) on both sides along with the short or skinny vinyl trail off on side 2(see pictures). I actually took some pretty good pictures of the trail off showing the markings. The cover has the original owners name written on it. Seams and corners have moderate to heavy wear(see pictures). Upper opening has about a 7 inch split in the seam(see pictures). The spine is legible. Vinyl has many hairline scratches and a few small scratches that you can feel. It skips many times on the first 2 songs on side 1. The other 2 songs on side 1 play great. Side 2 skips 1 time on the first track and plays great the rest of the way through. Labels are nice. Still has its original Atlantic inner sleeve. Inner sleeve has some clear tape on the seams. I listened to it on a Technics turntable with a Stanton P-88 cartridge. I normally wouldn't list a record in this condition but do to its demand and rarity I figured it would make a good filler copy for someone's collection that doesn't have it.
