For the first time ever, this was the complete collection of every record by Buddy Holly and the Crickets - together with many rare and hard to find interviews, television appearances and demo recordings. Over 120 tracks from the original mono and stereo masters complete with session dates and personnel. The set is compiled and extensively annotated by John Beecher and Malcolm Jones, who have brought together many rare and unpublished photographs in a special 60 page souvenir scrapbook.
Condition: While the individual albums, album sleeves, and scrapbook are all in near mint condition, the box does show some wear - see the last three photos. Although the lid hinging appears to be broken in the last photo, the crack is only superficial, and the lid is secure.
