THE RARITY OF EPs:-   EPs were popular in the UK from the early 1950s through the late 1960s.  However, they had a few flaws, which makes them especially rare in top condition!!!!  Firstly although they had 'LP type' covers - they were much thinner than LP covers, and as a result they creased and tore easily.  BUT THIS EP HAS REMAINED IN BRILLIANT CONDITION - WHICH IS ESPECIALLY RARE, AS IT IS NOW 61 YEARS OLD!!!!

PRESSING:-  THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING OF THIS EP EVER MADE!  IT HAS 1ST PRESS 'GOLD PRINT' ON THE LABELS (LATER ONES HAVE 'SILVER PRINT'!), 1ST PRESS 'FULLY' LAMINATED FLIPBACK COVER, 1ST PRESS '6.56' COVER BACK 'DATE CODING', 1ST PRESS 1C/1C MONO MATRIX ENDINGS, AND 1ST PRESS 1/1 MOTHER CODINGS!  SO IT REALLY IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!

LABELS:-   EX+ (Tri Centre is PERFECTLY in place and 100% solid - with NO 're-sticks'!)

RECORD GRADING:-   The record is in BRILLIANT condition!  Even under light the record looks BRILLIANT and JET BLACK!   There is NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!  There is some 'dappling' to the record (though this is ONLY visible directly under the VERY brightest light!) - which could suggest the record has been cleaned in some way in the past, or equally it could just be from manufacture.  The record plays BRILLIANTLY - with NO skips, NO jumps, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO groovewear, NO distortion, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!  The record must grade VG++++ if not better.  A very VERY nice record indeed, VERY strictly graded and lightly played!

INNER:-  EPs from this period never came with an inner sleeve.

COVER GRADING:-  The ORIGINAL 1st Press FULLY Laminated Flipback MONO Cover is in BRILLIANT condition - and is very VERY hard to find like this now!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only a few VERY light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking!), NO splits, some 'tipping in' to the bottom right corner, NO rips, NO tears, barely ANY 'central boss' record impression (this is almost INVISIBLE and can ONLY be noticed under angled lighting!), shiny laminate, only slight corner wear, NO annotations, and NO writing!  Even the back of the cover is also in BRILLIANT condition - with NO grubbyness, some typical slight yellowing, VERY shiny laminate, some surface ONLY wear to the bottom left flipback corner ONLY, and NO writing!  This cover must grade Very Good+ if not better!
