Second of three offerings; this one is from 1967. You can hear that the musicians have melded their styles of western jazz and classical Indian music even further than on their 1st helping (Indo-Jazz Suites from 1966). There's lots of sitar, tamboura and tabla merging with the jazz instruments to deliver a both pleasant and interesting listening experience. It combines a meditative vibe with swing. This is good, serious music, not cheesy 'exploito'!
The album is on the Columbia blue-black label, 1st pressing. Matrix numbers in the dead wax: XAX 3273 1U and XAX 3274 1U. Vinyl is NEAR MINT on both sides and the music exudes the liberated creative experimentation of the times.
