First rate collection of twelve vinyl LP's spanning several decades of recorded albums by the late country singer Conway Twitty. Lot appear to be all original issues on Decca, MCA, Elektra and Warner Bros. Records and includes an album signed by Conway. Visually graded vinyl is very clean vg+ to near mint, labels are clean and covers are vg to vg+, please expect some with shelf, seam, corner wear or other imperfections, some may have partially split seam, pen marks, sticker tear or be a cut out. As a measure of appreciation winner will also receive a bonus of six new stock 45's by Conway. Vinyl is hand cleaned and sleeved.
Please review photos for further consideration. Guaranteed as described and winner is obligated for shipping cost (review shipping details below). Withhold payment until you receive my invoice. You may combine wins on most items (review combined shipping policy below).
I will contact winning bidder, usually within 24 hours of auction close and provide shipping and payment details. Please, payments must be received within 10 days of my initial invoice providing total cost. I accept Paypal, but if Paypal is not a workable option for you (Domestic buyers only), please contact me and other acceptable adaptations will be welcome. I do not respond to requests for shipping cost (shipping cost provided within listing, just click on more services next to shipping), and I do not accept offers to close auction and sell at Buy It Now. Please do not ask me to include or provide additional photos, simply not enough hours in a day to include every detail or minor imperfection with a photo.
Currently all my sales are only through ebay auctions. I do not accept want lists or special requests. Most of my items I list are contracted with owner to sell only at auction.
COMBINED SHIPPING - MULTIPLE BIDS POLICY - PLEASE READ
If you win multiple items please wait until I forward you an invoice with adjusted shipping cost prior to making payment. All combined win periods are 10 days. Always let me know if you choose to have combined shipping when bidding on additional items that are closing within the 10 day period of your first win. ALSO, if combined LP's exceed 20 pounds I will ship in two smaller and lighter parcels. It is not wise to ship heavier boxes of LP's because they become very susceptible to handling damage. It may cost you a few dollars more for two boxes, but it is well worth the extra postage cost. Remember, shipping cost is determined by weight and destination, not number of items. Thank you.
SHIPPING COSTS
DOMESTIC: Shipping cost is actual postage plus $1.00 to help defer cost of professional packaging materials, handling and delivery confirmation. I will always try to ship bulk orders the least expensive option, either Media Mail or Parcel Post, unless Priority Mail is requested. I include free delivery confirmation with each shipment. Illinois State residents will be charged 7.75% sales tax.
INTERNATIONAL: International buyers, please do not forward payment until you receive my invoice. I am eligible for Ebay discount for USPS on line prepaid shipping label for PriorityAir Mail parcels, so always withhold payment until you receive my invoice which will reflect a lower cost than the amount stated on auction listing and indicated on eBay automated invoice. Also, some International destinations are Priority Air only and some. Charge will be determined by weight & destination. Shipping cost is actual postage plus $1.00 to help defer cost of professional packaging materials and handling. ALL International buyers must pay through their own authorized Paypal account. Most International shipments will be Priority Air mail only and I DO NOT ship to Russian Federation, China, Middle East & most of Asia. I will not ship to a non-verified US address. I follow Paypal required policy to qualify for total seller protection. Import duty, taxes or other monetary requirements associated with destination country are the buyers responsibility and I am not responsible for Customs delays or Customs fees. I am not liable for lost or damaged parcels and parcels that are returned because of improper address or unwillingness to pay customs fees. Expect some International parcels to require Signature confirmation. Please remember, it is unlawful and in violation of eBay policy to ask a seller to falsify customs form. Value and content of your purchase is automatically entered on your customs label eBay shipping form.
PACKAGING
All records are professionally packaged and most are shipped in cardboard LP mailers with cardboard flats & bubble wrap. Non bulk lot records are removed from cover. Bulk lot records are shipping with vinyl inside cover. Larger bulk shipments are all shipped in new boxes designed to accommodate records and packaging. All combined LP purchases over 20 pounds are shipped in two boxes (read multiple wins explanation). I do not skimp on packaging. Please, do not instruct me on how to safely package vinyl records.
RECORD GRADING LP'S
I place emphasis on play grade, maintain the highest professional standards, do spot check play grading on all individual auction items and always provide an accurate visual grade and label appearance. I play grade on a quality system with a high end cartridge in order to maintain a strict and undisguised play grade. I always keep my grading simple and fair and will not subject my customers to a proliferation of meaningless grades. If a record plays between two grades I always apply the lesser grade, I don't create a grade in an attempt to articulate a borderline evaluation.
nm....near mint, superb play quality with little to no signs of visual wear and plays with little to no extraneous noise. The only records that qualify for a "mint" grade on my listings are my new unplayed and unhandled store stock items.
vg+...very good plus, excellent play quality with minor use and little to no overall visual wear. Any minor scuffs, light surface scratches, or blemishes do not affect play and play grade may have some very minor extraneous area noise.
vg....very good, very playable, probably with some extraneous surface noise. A slightly mishandled or well used record. May have visual scratches or blemish. I generally do not auction vg albums unless they are exceptional pieces and highly sought after items.
I use standard record grading abbreviations and include cover grade within each description. I open, clean and inspect all suspect sealed older albums.
Grading is very subjective and everyone has their position on determining various grades. I stand by my grading as stated within grading details above, but there are always those who have unrealistic high expectations. Ten different collectors can give ten different interpretations on the difference between nm- & vg+. Please understand that many of my vinyl records are 30 to 60 years old. In my experience I have rarely found vinyl of this vintage that, under extreme scrutiny, does not have a hairline scuff, mark, blemish or manufacturing smudge or surface impression. My vinyl grading has satisfied almost 100% of my buyers. If you are consistently disappointed with my grading, please refrain from participation in future auctions. I hold no hard feelings and understand totally. I've been doing this successfully full time for over 40 years and am well aware of individuals various interpretations of grading records. If you have a problem, contact me and explain exactly what the issue is, please don't regrade the album.
BARGAIN CLEARANCE LOT DETAILS
Because of time constraints, all bargain bulk lots are visually graded. I will spot play check certain items with visual imperfections or scratches to make sure play quality is acceptable. I always try to include quality condition records in my bargain lots ranging from vg to mostly vg+ and near mint. I do not include any beater albums in these lots. Please understand I do not detail every little inconsequential imperfection of each item, it is a general over all grade. All bargain lot auctions are "as is". This means every item is guaranteed as described, but if one of the items in the lot is defective or I may have mistakenly overlooked a serious flaw you will only receive a partial credit for that item based on the total cost, you cannot return the entire lot for a full credit. Also, I do not respond to inquiries requesting additional details on bargain bulk lots. Bulk lot LP's are not VPI wet vac machine cleaned. Arrangements can be made to professionally machine clean your records for a fee of .35 per record (2 record sets = .70). Contact me for details. Also, winners of bulk lots must take entire lot, you cannot choose only certain albums, it's all or nothing.
