VINYL IN VG+ CONDITION

Following close inspection of the vinyl, there are some light / superficial surface marks/light whispy fine hairlines visible - nothing serious - no deep scratches - Have checked vinyl under a bright light

Have playtested vinyl on a Regar Plan 2 deck

There were no skips, jumps, or sticks, but there were some periodic background surface noise/clicks – more noticeable in between tracks & during quiet passages -

When the vinyl was played, the background noise occasionally overwhelmed the music during quiet passages - but overall did not ruin the listening experience.

Sound quality is excellent – no deterioration in sound quality

Record labels are clean and the print is clearly visible. 

 

No writing on the record label

 

No sticky residue or discoloration.

 

Except for trace of spidermarks & no significant spindle wear.

 

SLEEVE & INNER SLEEVE IN EXCELLENT  CONDITION

The sleeve has general light storage wear from rubbing & handling etc  i.e the sleeve has some light wear on/near the edges

No record ring wear

The spine is in clean condition with the text on the spine clearly legible

No seam splits or tears.

Sleeve inner has light record ring wear/light handling wear - but no splits or tears.

Inside of gatefold is in nice clean condition - there is just a rolling effect where the sleeve has lifted near inside of the spine through age.

Sleeve has been nicely cared for.

Sleeve has lasted very well - In nice condition for its age.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

I DO NOT SELL ANY VINYL GRADED LESS THAN VG, UNLESS IT IS ANYTHING THAT IS VERY RARE OR SPECIAL.
