Labels: NEAR MINT
Superb sets bearing just a single light spindle trail around each unworn centre hole.
Both visually: EXCELLENT
Both discs have been barely played and retain all of their deep-gloss factory shine. There are no significant marks or wear to any of the playing surfaces in strong daylight. Closer inspection directly beneath halogen light shows up some light marks and hairlines, mostly as a result of storage in the rough black inners.
Audio Overall: EXCELLENT +
Played just a couple of times on quality equipment, the audio on both discs is unworn and free from any groove/playwear.
Apart from the usual low-level vinyl background in some quieter passages the only noticeable distractions detected during our play-check were a handful of light clicks 'Blackbird' and 'Mother Nature's Son'.
It is not easy to find a nice sounding mono pressing and this one does not disappoint.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A strong & white example with an unworn high-gloss laminate on which the only sign of wear is single small 'thumbnail' on the front panel.
The laminate is fully intact over the raised 'THE BEATLES' wording and the number is clean and unworn.
There is minor wear to the lower corners and front opening but both panels inside the gatefold are pristine.
The spine, although slightly squashed, is clean & fully worded with no splits to the laminate anywhere along its length.
Photos: NEAR MINT
All are clean with just a small bend to one of Ringo's lower corners.
Poster: NEAR MINT
Inner-sleeves: EXCELLENT
Both are clean & flat with light storage wrinkling but no tears or seam splits.
