Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, ABBA’s Arrival has been hailed by many as “the ultimate ABBA album” - their third No.1 at home in Sweden, it also took the group to the top of the charts in 10 countries, including England, Germany and New Zealand, while also seeing ABBA enter the US Top 20 for the first (but not the last!) time in their career.

Establishing the much-loved four-piece as one of the world’s most popular bands, the album also yielded some of ABBA’s biggest and most well-known hits, ‘Dancing Queen’, ‘Knowing Me, Knowing You’, and ‘Money, Money, Money’.

To celebrate the album’s original October 1976 release, Polar Music (via Universal Music Group) will be releasing a number of mouth-watering anniversary reissues, including a 7” collectors’ box set, and a half-speed mastered 45rpm pressing of the original album.

The album reissue will also boast new liner notes written by respected Swedish journalist Jan Gradvall, who has conducted a brand-new interview with Michael B Tretow, ABBA’s acclaimed producer and “fifth member” - their conversation sheds new light on the recording of this much-loved album.
