This is an auction for the debut LP by the Rolling Stones released in the UK in Mono in 1964 on Decca records , catalogue number LK4605.
The vinyl is visually Excellent with a lovely sheen with only a few very very light superficial wispy marks. Considering it is 53 years old it looks great.
The Vinyl has the matrix numbers XARL-6271-2A on Side 1. On side 2 the matrix numbers are XARL- 6272 -3A.
It plays through superbly. It sits nice and flat on the turntable and plays. There is some very very light background noise but it is a superb listen and I would grade the audio as a strong excellent.
The McNeill press flipback sleeve is also very nice. The picture on the front is nice and clear.
Please have a look at the pictures.
