Soundtrack to the c-grade bollywood film ‘HOTEL’, with tombstones & crucifixes on the cover. Made by the infamous Ramsay who made a whole string of c-grade Hindi Horror films. Interestingly enough: Indian Horror movies always feature christian crucifixes, graveyards and western tombstones. (Hindu’s burn their dead). As if their own tradition isn’t filled to the top with creeps!! Like the green Godess of Distruction Kali, or the ritual murder sect of the Thugs. But no, Indians test their nerves with foreign import. The Better! Probably the crucifix is a horror symbol to Indians, and not a religious one?   Anyhow, back to the amazing soundtrack called HOTEL. A genuine Disco Horror soundtrack of absolute top Quality.  On top of A slow suspense Disco beat the Indian lady sings genuine Hindi Horror, telling the tale of the doomed Hotel….Every now and then filmic, terrifying interludes of strange horror Moog effects, desolate winds blowing, creepy bombastic horns… And, on top of this: two sublime instrumentals, including one of Bollywood's top instrumentals in psychedelic sitar funk style. The other one is one in a strange Morricone Raga style.   India 1981.

 

Hotel is one of the most fun horror/suspense Bollywood soundtracks!!! There are exquisite moments of Bollywood way of creating suspense with weird switches of moog, fuzz guitar, distorted organs!... There is one killer electric guitar solo adding superb dimension to the atmosphere they are trying to create and one truly twisted funky psychedelic song for your Bollywood-ed hookah enjoyment (you'll hear at the start of the sample)... hear for yourself!!

This is an Original Indian Pressing and the audio quality is superb. Very hard to find in such Condition. Check the Cover Jacket as well. No seam splits.
