Hello!  Please note, that this auction will end on late Friday February 9th UK time.  Of course, I usually end my auctions on Sundays.  However, as I have a large amount of AWESOME extra LPs, I will be doing 2 AMAZING sets of listings this week!!!!  So don't forget to check back before Friday February 9th UK time - to see some incredible items!  Please read on about this AMAZING item below, and GOOD LUCK if you decide to bid:-

On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called "Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" and is an ORIGINAL 1967 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Yellow & Black Parlophone label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE BEATLES RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  IT IS ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs ON THE PARLOPHONE LABEL - AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  THIS LP IS MADE EVEN RARER STILL - AS IT COMES WITH ITS ORIGINAL 1ST PRESS 'DARKER GREEN' INSERT, AND 100% GENIUNE STAMPED & DATED INNER SLEEVE (THIS LP ORIGINALLY CAME FROM A MUSIC LIBRARY, SO THE DATE ON THE INNER WOULD HAVE BEEN THE DATE IT WAS RECIEVED THERE DIRECT FROM THE FACTORY)!!!!

PLAIN INNER SLEEVE RUMOUR

ON MY LAST LISTINGS I RECIEVED 2 EMAILS.  NAMELY:-  "I have heard that early Pepper Albums came in a plain white inner sleeve, is that correct?"  and also "I thought it was well known that Pepper LPs released in the first week did not have the red/white inners, and should have 'patents applied for' inners instead?".  WELL IF THIS WELL KNOWN IT IS NEWS TO ME?  YET THIS SGT PEPPER LP DOES INDEED COME WITH A 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' INNER SLEEVE - AND WAS RECIEVED BY THE MUSIC LIBRARY ON THE 30/5/67 (4 DAYS AFTER THE RELEASE DATE)!!!!  IN FACT, THE INNER FOR THIS LP IS VERY STRANGE INDEED - AND NOT ONE I HAVE PREVIOUSLY COME ACROSS????  IT HAS THE EXACT SHAPE OF LATE 1960s EMI INNERS, AND ALSO HAS THE EXPECTED 'BLACK TEXT' PRINTED 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' IN THE BOTTOM LEFT OF THE INNER!!!!  HOWEVER, THE INNER DESPITE CLEARLY BEING FROM 1967 - STILL HAS THE 'EMITEX' PRINT ON IT ASWELL!!!!  THIS TYPE OF INNER I HAVE PREVIOUSLY NOT SEEN BEFORE - SO IT CANNOT HAVE BEEN USED ON MANY LPs AT ALL!!!!  AND CLEARLY THIS DEFINITELY THE INNER WAS SENT FROM THE FACTORY IN - AS IT IS DATE STAMPED & 'COPY' STAMPED BY THE RECORD LIBRARY WHO RECIEVED IT!!!!  SO IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFORMATION ON THIS - I WOULD BE HAPPY TO ADD THIS TO THE LISTING!!!!  BUT BE 100% CERTAIN - THIS 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' EMITEX INNER SLEEVE WAS DEFINITELY THE INNER SLEEVE SENT FROM THE FACTORY, AND RECIEVED BY THE MUSIC LIBRARY ON THE 30/05/1967 (AND IN TRUTH IT COULD HAVE EVEN BEEN RECIEVED EARLIER THAN THIS DATE - AS THE DATE STAMP PROBABLY REFERS TO THE DATE IT WENT INTO THE ARCHIVE)!!!!

AND FOLLOWING ON FROM ABOVE, FOR ONCE WE CAN TELL EXACTLY WHEN THIS LP WAS MADE.  NOW AS ANY ONE KNOWS THE 'SGT PEPPER' LP REMAINED IN THE CHARTS FOR WELL OVER A YEAR IN 1967, AND REMAINED COMPLETELY UNCHANGED FROM THE 'DAY OF RELEASE' ON THE 26th MAY 1967 THROUGH TO MID 1968 - WHEN THE 'KT' TAX CODING WAS REMOVED FROM THE LABELS.  SO IT IS NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO KNOW WHAT DATE A SGT PEPPER LP WAS REALLY MADE.  YOU COULD QUITE EASILY BUY A NM COPY SOLD AS A 1ST PRESSING, BUT ACTUALLY IT COULD JUST AS EASILY HAVE BEEN MADE IN MAY 1968 - RATHER THAN MAY 1967!!!!  LUCKILY IN THIS CASE, AS STATED ABOVE, THIS LP ORIGINALLY CAME FROM A MUSIC LIBRARY, AND IS DATE STAMPED AND ANNOTATED ON THE INNER SLEEVE!!!!  OF COURSE 'WRITING' IS NORMALLY CONSIDERED AS A BAD THING ON ANY INNER SLEEVE.  BUT IF YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE WRITING - THEN A 'DATE' OR A 'PRICE' IS MOST ACCEPTABLE.  AND ESPECIALLY WHEN THIS DATE STAMP ACCURATELY PUTS THIS LP CLOSE TO THE 'DAY OF RELEASE' - I THINK THIS IS MOST DEFINITELY AN 'ADDED BONUS' - RATHER THAN A DETRACTION!!!!  BECAUSE IT TELLS YOU THAT THIS LP IS A 100% GENIUNE UK 1ST PRESSING - AND WAS SENT OUT TO THE MUSIC LIBRARY ON THE VERY 'DAY OF RELEASE'!!!!  AND WITH NO OTHER WAY OF KNOWING - YOU CAN IN THIS LPs CASE BE 100% CONFIDENT THAT YOU ARE GETTING A 100% GENIUNE UK 1ST PRESSING, MADE PRIOR TO THE RELEASE DATE - WHEN THIS LP HADN'T EVEN ENTERED THE CHARTS!!!!

THIS LP IS MADE EVEN RARER STILL - AS IT IS AN ULTRA RARE 'FACTORY SAMPLE' PRESSING!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  'FACTORY SAMPLE' PRESSINGS WERE ONLY EVER PRESSED IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS (NO MORE THAN A HUNDRED COPIES AT THE VERY MOST!), AND WERE ONLY EVER USED FOR 'IN-HOUSE' USE BY EMI / PARLOPHONE THEMSELVES (FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES), SENT OUT TO RADIO STATIONS OR RECORD LIBRARIES (AS IN THIS CASE!), OR VERY OCCASSIONALLY ONE WAS GIVEN OUT TO 'IMPORTANT VISITORS' TO THE FACTORY - SUCH AS PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS FOR EXAMPLE!!!!  BARELY ANY 'FACTORY SAMPLE' PRESSINGS OF THIS LP WERE EVER MADE - MAKING THIS LP OF THE UTMOST RARITY!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION - AND CLEARLY HASN'T BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1967 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'YELLOW & BLACK' PARLOPHONE LABEL, 1ST PRESS 'GRAMOPHONE COMPANY' LABEL EDGE TEXT, 1ST PRESS 'SOLD IN THE UK' LABEL TEXT, 1ST PRESS 'KT' LABEL TAX CODE, 1ST PRESS 1/1 MONO MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' EMITEX INNER SLEEVE, 1ST PRESS 'CUT-OUT' INSERT, AND 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FLIPBACK FULLY LAMINATED MONO COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Parlophone UK 1st Pressing from 1967 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl!!!!  The Cat. No is PMC 7027 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Yellow & Black Parlophone label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO stickers, NO tears, possible 'touched in' trace to 1 centre hole (though this is doubtful), NO annotations, NO wear, and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASN'T BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 2 or 3 VERY light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO pops, NO skips, barely ANY clicks AT ALL (virtually NONE!), NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some VERY slight background sound in places!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Patents Applied For' Emitex inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Flipback FULLY Laminated 'Patents Pending' MONO Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO edge splits, only very VERY light spinal wear, NO spine splits, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), VERY shiny laminate, NO rips, NO tears, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the corners, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the laminated inside of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, STUNNING flipbacks, VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

TAKE A LOOK AT PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA RARE Beatles LP!!!!  THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL 1967 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING OF "SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND" BY THE BEATLES, IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  Dont forget to take a look at all my other items including many other TOP LPs and contact me with any queries you may have.  Postal discounts for multiple buys are always available - and I guarantee to ALWAYS undercharge on postage!  Paypal, Bank Transfers, Cheques, International Money Orders, and Postal Orders accepted. Though there are rarely ever any problems with my items (I always try my very best to describe everything exactly!) - PLEASE REMEMBER to contact with me FIRST, if you have any problems at all, before you leave feedback and star ratings, so I get a chance to turn any negative experience into a positive one!  I can always happily sort anything out for you, if you let me know you have a problem!  This way no one has to leave Negative/Neutral feedback - and we both walk away happy!  Please do NOT bid if you cannot give me at least 1 chance to sort everything out to your FULL satisfaction in the unlikely event of a problem.  Thanks again - Graham @ XXXRecords.

PLEASE NOTE - Private feedback bidders must consult me first prior to bidding - due to previous problems regarding non-payment, and non-receipt.   MY POSTAGE UNDERCHARGE GUARANTEE TO ALL BUYERS (I always undercharge on postage!):-  Due to UK Royal Mail's obscene price increases this year - I have had no choice but to increase postage charges a little.  Until this year - I had kept them exactly the same since I joined ebay back in 2002.  However this years price increases have been so obscene, that I have had no choice but to increase my postage charges for the first time ever.  However PLEASE NOTE - my absolute 100% guarantee to you as a buyer - is that I will ALWAYS undercharge postage on everything I send out.  Even after the increases, I am still charging you the buyer LESS than I am being charged myself.  On each package I send out - the price is clearly stated on the front of the package (please check it when you recieve it!).  I also do NOT charge for packaging costs - ONLY for postal costs!  And should you find that I have overcharged you postage in ANY way - I will refund DOUBLE the difference.  THAT IS MY 100% POSTAL GUARANTEE FOR EACH AND EVERY BUYER!  No buyer EVER deserves to be overcharged on postage - and on my listings, I'll make sure they are ALWAYS undercharged.  Any questions - please ask!
