Killer OST by musical workaholic Ortolani who gave us many scores including a clutch of softcore sex romps including this exciting release. Don’t be put off by the mainstream label here as this beauty contains some truly beautiful cuts like the love theme Tramonto Amore e Sabbia with its lilting rhythm section, laid back wah-wah and funky backbeat plus some strong drum work. But first prize goes to the stupidly heavy metal funk of Decimazione Amanti, featuring that relentless bass and drum interplay over some mind melting electronic effects. Sampled back in 2007 by the Chemical Brothers on We are the Night, it ranks as one of the hardest drum hardest Italian OST Funk bangers out there as played by Cherrystones and the Finders Keepers boys and if it were on a Library record by Bruno Nicolai or Umiliani we’d be talking three figures here. A great and rather groovy soundtrack in mint shape, file between Ortolani’s other erotic film scores Per Amare Ofelia & The Scandal.
