Electronic music artist Jimmy Tamborello and Death Cab For Cutie vocalist Ben Gibbard came together to be Postal Service and to create this LP. The album was originally released on February 18, 2003 on Sub Pop Records and the vinyl released on a 2 LP bonus edition in 2004 by Sub Pop Records. (This is the edition I'm selling). 2 LP's with the bonus-mixed tracks and covers.
This is the amazing Gate fold double LP by Postal Service. This vinyl edition has a 16 page booklet and poster included (both in mint condition and never used). I have never opened up the sealing over the cover double fold either other than to slit open the side and take the records out to view and play them once. So the plastic has never come off and the gatefold has never been opened. Records are both in excellent condition. Now if you look at Record 2 Side 1 photo (my last photo) I wanted to point out to you the strange grooves in the vinyl. They look like scratches but are not, they are in the actual pressing. No sound distortion on these songs, and no pops or hisses or skips. Vinyl on both records are in excellent condition.
A real fantastic record of mixes and iconic songs from this band. IF you're a fan it is a must have.
This is the only studio LP (to date) that they recorded. I've kept this record with another plastic seal over it and stored. An amazing limited edition and a great addition to you record collection. A nice buy for 2 LP's, a book and a poster. VERY NICE.
Thanks for considering my auction.
