RECORD ALBUM GRADING:

Excellent (EX) ~  The vinyl will show faint signs of wear such as light scratches and/or scuffs. All marks are minor and will not affect the quality of the sound and play with little or no surface noise. Jacket may have light ring wear, wear on the corners or seams, small names, stickers, notched corner cuts, creases, and light discoloration. Labels may have spindle marks, small writing such as initials, and small stickers.

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) ~  Show obvious signs of wear, light scuffs or scratches that should not affect playback that much. Jacket may have ring wear, wear on the corners or seams, small names, stickers, notched corner cuts, creases, and light discoloration. Labels may have spindle marks, small writing such as initials, and small stickers.

VERY GOOD (VG) ~ The vinyl shows more obvious signs of wear and handling. Record has noticeable surface static in some areas but may be quiet and clean in other areas. Some of the scratches deep enough to be felt. The jacket may have noticeable ring wear, shelf wear, stickers, marks, staining, writing, seam splits, cuts, and discoloration.  Labels may have spindle marks, small writing such as initials, and small stickers.

GOOD PLUS (G+) ~ The vinyl has significant and obvious wear and handling including surface noise throughout, audible scratches which cause clicks and pops and crackle, but no skips or repeated grooves. The jacket may have noticeable ring wear, shelf wear, stickers, marks, staining, writing, seam splits, cuts, and discoloration. Labels or jacket may have writing, names, stickers, discoloration, may be partially peeled off, and can have numerous spindle issues.
