DESCRIPTION

Here is a genuine STEREO 1967 MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR by THE BEATLES on Capital Records.  SMAL2835.  This 1967 Original has the Gatefold with the bound 24-page booklet.   The cover and booklet are in amazing shape with very little wear!

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS

-       1967 rainbow label pressing, Jacksonville factory.

-       Black label with colorband, without "subsidiary" rim text. 

-       BMI credit after every song on label on SIDE 2; ASCAP credit for SIDE 1

-       "All selections are published by Maclen Music, Inc., BMI" on left inside gatefold.   

-       Gatefold with bound 24-page booklet.

-       "No You're Not!" text under "I Am the Walrus" is in bold font, on inside cover.

-       Pressed at Capitol's Jacksonville factory, as identified with "O" in the run-outs.

-       The matrix listed above- SM(T)AL -means that it appears the original prefix etched in was "ST" but then the MAL was etched within those letters later. Occurs on both sides.

-      All LP Vinyl is packaged with the record outside the jacket/paper sleeve in a collector protector archival quality record sleeve; with the cover and record in a plastic sleeve with two rigid cardboard stiffeners to ensure no movement or rubbing during transit.
