VINYL / Cds, CASES & SLEEVES ETC

Vinyl /CD Grade

MINT (M):AS NEW: This record looks like it has just left the manufacturer, with NO wear at all It looks as though it had never been handled. No lines or scratches, or stains.

NEAR MINT (NM): This record appears virtually mint, very lite lines and nothing on the vinyl. It should play without any noise. The lite lines are hard to see.

EXCELLENT (EX): Lite lines / marks which are only just visible. There may be more than a few marks. It should play without any noise.

VERY GOOD (VG): Record shows noticeable wear, visible surface marks. The vinyl still has shine, but the wear will be noticeable.. The wear may cause some surface noise.

Case / Sleeve Grade

MINT (M): No stickers, address labels, writing on the covers or labels. No tears or seam splits. No wear to the cover/ case. As new, no matter what age it is.

NEAR MINT (NM): The cover / case looks as close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and / or age.

EXCELLENT (EX): Artwork is still as close to perfect as can be. Some impression to the cover (minor outer ring wear), but no ink wear! Some slight creases / wear  to the corners, but not split .

VERY GOOD (VG): The artwork looks clean with lite aging. The back of the cover usually gives away the age of the cover / case. White paper sleeve will be faded/ yellow with age, no stains or mildew from water damage. Some minor wear to t he seams or spine, but no tears / cracks or holes.

****A plus (+) or minus (-) following the condition indicate variations of the condition, i.e. VG+ is in slightly better condition than VG, but not excellent.
