Rare promo-only split 45 from the Ferris Bueller's Day Off. The soundtrack was never released, outside of these two songs on this 45. Given out only at some screenings of the film.

Many fans of the film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" have been under the assumption for many years that a soundtrack album was once released, but is now "out of print." Though the soundtrack to John Hughes' film is considered by many to be a bonafide '80s classic, Hughes refused to ever release an official soundtrack album. He felt that the selection of songs used in the movie was simply too eclectic and varied to make for a cohesive album. The closest thing to be released was a promotional 7" single with "BeatCity" by The Flowerpot Men on the a-side and "I'm Afraid" by Blue Room on the b-side. This was given out at certain screenings of the film in 1986.

record   is     VG  to  VG+        (      side a is VG+ , side b is VG with a pressing defect and some light marks , a few of which are slightly feelable with the edge of a fingernail  . side a plays great with just very minor normal surface static , side b plays well with some minor surface static and with some minor ticks on occasion , here and there , and with a few regular ticks at the very end of the song . still a very enjoyable listen , in my opinion . NO skips on my turntable with lightweight tonearm and light tracking force .  pretty cool rare 45 )
