How We Grade Vinyl

SS: Still sealed in shrink wrap. Sealed items cannot be physically examined and are assumed to be in mint condition without defect.

NM: Near perfect appearance, no scuffs scratches, blotches, stains or writing

EX: Excellent, clean copy with only a few inconsequential flaws that do not affect play.

VG+: Very good plus, with a few flaws, possibly a light mark, scratch or loss of original luster. May have very little light surface noise at quiet portions or between tracks.

VG: Very good, displays moderate visible signs of handling and playing, such as loss of luster, some light scratches. May have some audible surface noise in spots at quiet portions or between tracks and does not overwhelm music

G+: Good plus, similar to very good, but with a few more flaws, light scratches and audible surface noise

G: Good, well played with significant surface noise, but no skipping. Can still be worthwhile for rare or sentimental items.
