Elio Revé y su Orquesta "el Ritmo Changüí" Areito Records LP # PRD-O72 (1980) Rare LP compilation of the first Revé charanga ensemble of the late 1960s and 1970s before the creation of Revé's Charangón. Some of these tracks feature Juan Formell on bass and Changuito-José Luis Quintana on timbal before they left to form Los Van Van
Vinyl: Mint minus, original Areito/EGREM pressing! no spindle wear, no spindle markings. I played once to record after purchasing it in the mid-1980s, it's been stored in my collection ever since.
Jacket: Top side and bottom edges are in excellent condition as are the corners. Front and back covers show some minimal rub wear. see photos
Cara A Yo soy el Changüí Sama Mi Paraiso de Amor La Feria de la Juventud A Santiago Mi Ritmo Changüí Cara B Yateras Changüí Morena Juaniquita Con el Diablillo La Batea Pulmeron These songs have their rhythms identiified like back in the pre-salsa days (some of these songs might be on youtube for track samplings)
Photos seen were taken with my cell camera, not the highest resolution, it's the actual LP but due to the new ebay size policy for photos, I had to enlarge images making them slightly distorted.
As a life long record collector, I protect and pack records very well before shipping using a traditional cardboard LP mailer
International Buyers: Keep in mind that shipping costs to Europe, Central and South America, the Caribbean and Asia can at times exceed the purchase price. see Additional Checkout Instructions for more information.
