TOM PHILLIPS-IRMA AN OPERA 1978 OBSCURE RECORDS LP OBS 9 IN A SOLID G+(cover)-VG++ CONDITION. CLEAN VINYL!! Music befitting Brian Eno's Obscure Records were few and far between but this modern classical opera fit the bill and then some. The score involved 93 random phrases taken from the 1892 novel A Human Document by W.H. Mallock that Phillips reworked for this recording. All fans of the opera, Phillips or the genre will love having this obscure recording in their grasp!!
The record is in a solid VG++ condition,, nice and clean, plays well throughout. The cover is import flimsy with a scuffed center of the spine. One can see light but since the sleeve actually protects the record, I rated it a G+. There is also minor wear along the bottom and top edges, minor rubs on the corners and a trace of ring wear on the front. The original inner sleeve is intact. A fantastic buy!!
